New Taiko Classes beginning in September.
Children’s Taiko
This class is geared to children ages 6 – 10 Taiko will be taught in a playful and non threatening environment.
Children will learn a basic repertoire, how to work and play in community as well as about Taiko, Wadaiko in Japan and N. America.
The class meets weekly on Tuesdays 3:15 – 4:00 in Ashland.
Fee $40 per month + a one time fee for Bachi (sticks) $10-$12
Adult / Teen Taiko
In this class students will learn about Wadaiko, it’s history and where it is today.
We will study stance, how to strike the drum, various songs and playful activities in a non threatening environment.
The class meets weekly on Tuesdays 6:15 – 7:30
Fee $45 + $12 Bachi fee
